Goals are the broad, measurable targets toward which an organization directs
its resources. When  linked to purpose, principles and priorities they become a
catalyst to measure the effectiveness of the organization.

Member Development -  Grow the membership to 3,000 units with a satisfaction rating of 95% (35% rated excellence) and a retention factor of 66%.

Program Innovation - Introduce new programs for  youth, teens and families will result in annual enrollment of 3000.

Marketing & Communications - Develop an annual marketing program with key messages that will position the Monroe Family YMCA as a family serving organization and the community charity of choice.

Collaborative Relationships - Strategically recruit 10 new partners to support the delivery of programs throughout the county.

Facility Improvements - Develop a master plan that identifies priorities,  time table and a financing strategy to expand the current facility for greater member satisfaction.

Financial Resources - Grow the endowment fund to $200,000 per year; establish a Heritage Club with 15 members. Prepare for a capital campaign and raise $100,000 in the Strong Kids Campaign.

Leadership Development - Recruit 50 additional program volunteers. Staff will have access to a professional development fund (2.0% of total compensation) to advance professional competencies and certifications. The board will develop a recruitment strategy to broaden representation and utilize assessment tools to strengthen the effectiveness of the governance system..
