The Y Before & Afterschool Care 

The Monroe Family YMCA's Before and Afterschool Programs are for children in grades K-8. These programs offer fun, excitement and education in a safe and healthy environment. In today's society, no one institution can offer children everything they need to grow up healthy and strong. The Y working in conjunction with Monroe County schools can offer a much more well-rounded experience.

The Y provides many enrichment programs that schools may not be able to offer such as sports, music, creative play and arts and crafts. Daily components of the Y's Childcare programs included assisted homework time, healthy snacks and character development that involves children in values-related discussions.

Our fitness activities enhance many schools limited ability to provide traditional physical education. Physical activities are are conducted at least three times a week to improve the fitness levels of all students.  

Weekly Fees for Beforeschool

Program begins at 6:30am

Full Time (4-5 Days)

Member: $15 per child/ Non-Member: $30 per child

Part Time (1-3 Days)

Member: $10 per child/ Non-Member: $20 per child

Weekly Fees for Afterschool

Full Time (4-5 Days)

Member: $30 per child/ Non-Member: $60 per child

*Sibling Saving $5 per child

Part Time (1-3 Days)

Member: $20 per child/ Non-Member: $40 per child

*Sibling Saving $3 per child

Additional Fees

Registration Fee: $30 per child

Transportation Fee: $10 per child/ per week
