The YMCA exists to promote healthy development of all kids and families regardless of their financial means. Each dollar contributed to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign goes directly to making life changing YMCA programs and/ or memberships available to those in need.

In 2010, we granted $116,554 in sponsored memberships to 531 children and families in need. Over 800 kids took swimming lessons, over 500 kids took part in before and after school care and over 100 kids enjoyed summer day camp- all supported by the Strong Kids Campaign.
